New construction of a detention facility in Russellville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 129,000-square-foot, 400-bed detention facility.
As of June 27, 2024, this project commenced construciton early spring 2024. All trades have been awarded. The Pope County Quorum Court is considering a public-private partnership to fund the project. There is currently no set construction start date.
