A Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond (2 yr.) will be required upon award. The project construction under this contract is Phase 1 of the overall station project. The Phase 2 work being performed under a separate contract generally consists of driveway paving, conduit grounding, foundations structure erection, bus installation, equipment installation, overhead lightning shielding installation, cable trench installation, conduit system installation, emergency generator installation, landscaping, and irrigation. The Phase 1 and 2 contractors work will overlap and careful coordination of activities will be required. The Phase 2 contractor will be mobilized to the site once sufficient site area has been graded and surfaced with flexible base has been installed by the Phase 1 contractor. The Phase 2 Contractor is responsible for removal of all excess spoils associated with their own excavation activities. The Phase 1 contractor shall return upon completion of all Phase 2 construction for re-surfacing and placement of yard-surfacing. The Nevill Road Switching Station is located approximately 5.6 miles Southeast of Girvin, Texas (Intersection of US Hwy. 67 and Texas State Highway 11 ). The property is located approximately % of a mile south of Nevill Road. The project work generally consists of temporary fencing, grading, flexible base, drainage and security fencing, as defined in the project plans and specifications
