Site work and new construction of a stadium in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 52,000-square-foot stadium; and for site work for a stadium.
Construction of a new arena on the site of the Gallagher Center for a seating capacity of 300-400 spectators. The project will include dressing room upgrades to the Farrell Agencies Arena at the Gallagher Center, a new main entry for the facility on the building's east side, and the replacement of the ice plant, which must be sized for the two arenas as well as the curling rink. TIMELINE: Design is conceptual. Project has been put on hold indefinitely. No further design or construction to ensue. Coverage of this report is discontinued. *Initial estimated construction cost was $11.5 million.
