Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Plainfield, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
* As of February 3, 2020 this project has been awarded. There is no start date available yet. The work applies to an existing 50,000-gallon multi-leg steel water tower. The water tower is located at the intersection of North Woodward Avenue and West Mill Street in the Village of Plainfield. The work for which bids are asked includes the following: surface preparation and overcoating of all exterior surfaces, and complete coating removal and replacement of the interior wet surfaces of a 50,000-gallon steel multi-leg water tower. The work also includes inlet/outlet pipe insulation replacement, expansion joint replacement, installation of a new roof vent, temporary water pressure system and other miscellaneous appurtenances. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates.
