Site work and new construction of a civil project in Tofino, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.
Scope of work includes: 1. The wastewater treatment plant (WWTP); 2. The conveyance system (pipes and pumps throughout town to get the sewage to and from WWTP); 3. The replacement of the ocean outfall. TIMELINE: Request for Qualifications for Contractor was cancelled. North American Constructors LTD was the successful Contractor, and in August 2022, the District of Tofino signed an agreement to proceed with all of the works.
