Renovation of a stadium in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a stadium.

The City of Eau Claire is seeking proposals from qualified firms to complete design work for upcoming improvement projects at the Historic Carson Park Baseball Stadium. Planned improvements for the stadium include replacement of the 1st and 3rd baseline aluminum bleachers, addition of bathroom/storage/vending space along either the 1st or 3rd baseline, and improvements to the main grandstand structure including weatherproofing, tuck pointing, window & door replacements, lighting upgrades, and painting/façade improvements of the grandstand structure and surfaces. Incorporation of historical information/memorabilia honoring Eau Claire's baseball history is desired as part of the grandstand improvements and recognition of private donors is to be incorporated into seatbacks within the bleacher replacements. Replacement of the dugouts is already underway as a separate project, to be completed by winter of 2025. Replacement of the natural playing surface with artificial turf and associated field drainage work is also planned through private fundraising.
