Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Berkeley, California. Design plans call for the construction of a 769,316-square-foot, 739-unit multi-residential development; and 196-space parking garage.
Plans call for the development of a mixed-use affordable housing project to include 739 dwelling units over 13 mixed-use and residential buildings ranging from 3-8 stories tall. The proposed development project will be constructed in two phases. Phase I will be comprised of the reconfigured Station Access Road which runs north to south across the eastern half of the site as well as the three affordable housing buildings and publicly accessible open spaces east of the Station Access Road. Phase II will be comprised of two market rate buildings and one affordable housing building as well as publicly accessible open spaces west of the Station Access Road. As of February 27, 2026, construction is anticipated to begin in 2027. Construction is anticipated to take approx 2-3 years. A general contractor has not yet been selected.
