Expected Contract Value $35,000 - $50,000 The bids must cover all costs for the completion of this project as set forth in the bid documents. The principal items of work to be performed under the contract are provision and installation of emergency pre-emption system and backplates at the intersections of West Main Street (SR 0322) & Academy Drive, West Main Street (SR 0322) & Market Street (SR 1024), and South State Street & Fulton Street. All work must be satisfactorily completed on or prior to June 12, 2020. Bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid will be required in the form of a certified check, cashier check, bank treasurers check, or satisfactory bid bond made payable to or naming as obligee the Borough of Ephrata. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days after scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, except as permitted by law Bidders are advised that they must comply with all State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project. You are required to submit an executed anti-collusion statement with this bid. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act #442 - Session of 1961) shall apply to this project, as defined within the bid documents, since this contract is estimated to cost more than $25,000. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract and each with satisfactory corporate surety, will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder at the time stated in the specifications. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Ephrata Borough hereby reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, or informalities in bids received, to reject any and/or all bids submitted and to accept any bid which it may deem to be in the best interests of the Borough.
