Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Sultan, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The estimated cost of construction for the project is between $470,000 and $515,000 which includes the following scope of work: Decant facility foundation and structure construction; soil and roadway excavation; settling tank, oil/water separator, sewer pipe, and storm and sanitary sewer manhole installation; paving; construction survey; temporary traffic control; and other work as necessary. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Sultan. The City retains the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days.
