Site work and paving for a civil project in Hobbs, New Mexico. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
To plan, design and construct improvements on Joe Harvey Blvd., for the City of Hobbs, New Mexico in Lea County. Plan, design and construct Joe Harvey Improvements by preparing an RFP for bid which is to include replacement of Trunk Line F, a failing major sewer line providing crucial service to the citizens of Hobbs, renovation of median retention basins, and general roadway improvements as well. The City of Hobbs will follow policies and procedures and comply with the NM Procurement Code. Project is included in the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration FY 2023-2027 Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan. As of August 7, 2025, per owner, construction has not started, still in Design. Still in negotiations with design firm. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
