Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Loveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; 6,264-square-foot municipal facility; and municipal facility.
This project is at occupancy. *This project has been updated for historical data and reference purposes. The information has been provided as it was received and confirmed. The City of Loveland Public Works Office/Garage Building to be located at 10980 Loveland-Madeira Rd., Loveland, Ohio will consist of the following: Approximate 6,264 SF first floor footprint with a sealed concrete floor in the garage bays, and ceramic tile or carpet in the office portion of the building. The new building will house a minimum of 8 bays (4 bays double stacked) to house vehicles or miscellaneous equipment, as well as a partial mezzanine level (approx. 2,420 SF) with lift for additional storage. Minimum of four offices, a conference room, restrooms, and plan drawing and file storage area. Exterior will be covered with a combination of metal siding and limited split face CMU wainscoting. Underground detention and storm sewer improvements, as necessary, must meet Hamilton County Regulations. The Public Works complex, including the existing office building, is to remain in operation during the entire design/build process. Demolition of the existing Public Works office building (approximately 3,000 SF) and abandonment of the septic system on the lower level of the site to be performed through separate contract after the new building is occupied Approximately $1,225,000. All questions not submitted strictly in accordance with the procedure outlined above will not be answered. The City of Loveland intends to select a short list of firms (number to be determined) for design/build services for the project listed above and further described herein based on the information contained within the submitted Qualification Statements. Those short-listed firms will then be requested to submit proposals. Short-listed firms will be contacted in mid-February & will be given two weeks to submit a proposal. Council is anticipated to award contract Mar. 9, 2021. Design & construction in 2021.
