As of September 26th, 2022, project is not anticipated to be awarded due to funding limitations. No definite date of rebid yet. Some of the major bid items involved in the proposed work are: subgrade preparation, aggregate base course, cement concrete pavement, and install 6-inch perforated polyethylene underdrain pipe.
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited. Bonds submitted on other than the bond form provided by the department may be subject to rejection. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate performance and payment bonds each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. State Wage Rates: The State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this public works project located in Okanogan County. Bidders are responsible to verify and use the most recent prevailing wage rates. The "Effective Date" for this project is the Bid Form due date above.
