Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ocean Shores, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of construc-tion of a 10-foot wide asphalt trail 3,900 feet in length and parallel to the ocean shoreline. Features include pin pile supported board-walks for wetland crossings total-ing 335 feet in length, turnouts with benches and trash recepta-cles, bollards and signage. Work. includes temporary erosion and sedimentation controls, brush removal, grading, import of trail base material, asphalt paving, wetland buffer plantings, and other related items of work. The Work shall be physically complete within 70 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All Proposals must be accompanied. by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "City of Ocean. Shores" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. Financing of the Project has been provided by City of Ocean Shores, Washington, and a Federal Grant. Administered by the Washington State Department of Transportation, and includes a. DBE goal of 16%. Contract. questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer. The City of Ocean Shores expressly reserves the right, to reject. any or all Proposals and to waive in inor irregularities or informalities and to Award the Project to the low-est responsive, responsible bidder as it best serves the interests of the Town.
