Furnish and install a new end-suction centrifugal booster pump, VFD, and associated piping at the Ocean Shores Water Treatment Plant. This project consists of furnishing and installing a new end-suction centrifugal booster pump, VFD, and associated piping at the Ocean Shores Water Treatment Plan. The work specified in this Section consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of the WTP VFD Booster Pump Project, as shown on the Plans, and hereinafter specified. Work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: A. Install new 50-hp end-suction centrifugal pump and motor at the WTP Booster Pump Station. Modify the suction and discharge piping to provide the NEC required distance between the pumps and the MCC. B. Remove part of the interior/exterior walls for the passage of the suction and discharge piping. C. Relocate existing flanged pipe fittings as shown on plans. D. Install new flanged pipe fittings as shown on plans. E. Install new piping, check valve, and butterfly valve to connect to the new Booster Pump No. 3 as shown on plans.
