As of October 28, 2020, an engineer has been selected and this project is mid way through the design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to late 2022.
*The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Replace two intersections with an interchange. A frontage road will eliminate traffic exiting onto USH 12 from Mill Pond Road. Three roundabouts are being considered at ramp and frontage road connections. Approximately 30% of design has already been completed. Consultant costs including indirect cost rates and cost accounting system will be subject to audit. Consultant firms that are unable to account for costs consistent with requirements of the FAR are not eligible to contract. Consultants selected will be required to either submit or have on file with WisDOT a Consultant Financial Report prior to contract execution. I The contract price will be based on the selected consultant's actual costs plus fixed fee. Actual costs will be defined as those costs allowable under the cost principles in Part 31 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Anticipated Construction Cost :$17,000,000-$19,999,99 The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultant's estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate.
