**As of February 11, 2021, the project has not yet been awarded. The schedule is below : Award Notification: February 23, 2021. Begin Construction: April 15, 2021(Site)/June 21, 2021 (Soccer) Seeding Completion deadline : September 1,2021 Substantial Completion deadline: September 12, 2021 Final Completion deadline: September 26, 2021. Work will include earthwork operations, electrical service, stone masonry, asphalt paving, concrete curbs and paving, play equipment installation, shelter installation, play surfacing, fences, planting and turf, and sub-drainage. Project manuals, including bid form and specifications, and construction documents are available after 11:00 A.M. on January 14, 2021 from Accurate Reprographics 2368 Corporate Lane, Suite 100, Naperville, Illinois 60563 630.428.4433. Bid results will be distributed to the plan holders after opening. All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Lombard Park District. The successful bidder, as determined by the Lombard Park District, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages for the locality of the Lombard Park District, to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let. The Lombard Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Lombard Park District. The Lombard Park District encourages minority business firms to sub-mit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
