New construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Urbana, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The Urbana Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive technicalities and irregularities. Bids will be accepted in strict accordance with instructions to bidders in the Specifications. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). This project is being financed, in part, with funds from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant program. The Urbana Park District encourages 1) minority business firms to submit bids on the project and 2) successful contract bidders to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, services, and construction. Final questions for the design team need to be submitted by 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 26.
