Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a 149,648-square-foot medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
The project consists of a new medical tower at an existing medical center. Funding for this project was passed and approved as part of the King County 2020 Proposition 1 Bond on November 3, 2020. Scope details have not been finalized. Monies procured for this project: New Tower - $925M. A construction cost has not yet been confirmed. As of December 6, 2024 the project is in planning stage. The owner has created a short list from a Design-Build Services RFQ. An award will be made in July 2025. A construction manager has been chosen. The construction timeline has not been established, but is not expected to begin before the later half of 2026. The RFQ follows below. _______________________________________________ King County requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms (Proposers) interested in providing services for the Progressive Design-Build Services for Harborview Medical Center Facility and Infrastructure Improvements project (Project). Substantial Completion December 2031 The County reserves the right to reject any and all SOQs at any time.
