King County Executive Dow Constantine transmitted legislation to the King County Council that would place a capital improvement bond measure before King County voters on the November 2020 General Election ballot. The measure seeks voter approval of $1.74 billion in general obligation bond funding over 20 years for health and safety improvements at King Countys Harborview Medical Center. The proposed $1.74 billion package includes: Pioneer Square Clinic - $20M Plans call for seismic upgrades and improvements to clinic space at the Pioneer Square Clinic The King County 2020 Proposition 1 Bond was passed and approved by the voters on November 3, 2020. As of June 16, 2022, King County has confirmed that they are working with Vanir Construction Management.
