The Project consists of all trade work required to provide roofing replacement which will include the complete tear-off down to roof decking as identified in the Construction Documents located at the Danville Public Safety Building. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The Owner requires all contractors and vendors doing business with the Owner not to discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, age, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, non jobrelated handicaps or national origin. Successful bidders shall be required to observe the fair employment practices commission rules pertaining to equal employment opportunity, and comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.., and use wage determination as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, Conciliation, and Mediation Division dated 4/16/2010. these wages will remain in effect until superseded by a new determination. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive all informalities in the bidding. After receipt of the bids and completion of the review process, the Owner may award a contract to the bidder that, in its opinion, will provide a combination of the best service and reasonable cost.
