Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

The joint sealant on Runway 18C/36C, Taxiway Echo, and Taxiway E2-E10 will be removed and replaced to maintain the pavement. This will include all concrete to concrete joints and the concrete to asphalt shoulder joint. The project will also require spall repairs necessary to complete installation where pavements have been damaged. This work will be completed in phases though the duration of the project. The pavement markings will be replaced by CLT Field Maintenance as the contractor completes portions of each phase of spall repairs and joint sealant replacement as installation is completed. Structural shoulder pavement repairs of Taxiway E2 and Taxiway E10 at the Runway edge line will also need to be completed. The City, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this Invitation to Bid, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
