Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Pico Rivera, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a stadium; 45,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; stadium; and educational facility.

As of January 07, 2021, this project has been cancelled. As of October 14, 2020 this project is still On-Hold. It has been on hold since June 2020. As of June 12, 2020, the District has placed this project on indefinite hold. There is a possibility this project will resume moving forward fall 2020. As of April 22, 2029, the construction manager is waiting for School District approval and anticipates news late May or early June 2020 regarding bid results and schedule. This Lease-Leaseback (LLB) Project is Phase 1 of a multi-phase renovation of the existing, occupied El Rancho High School campus. Phase 1 is approximately 17 acres; Plans are divided into two Volumes: Volume 1) New Sports Fields, Stadium with pressbox, modular elevator (Bldg G), track, baseball field, softball field, two new field buildings with team rooms (Buildings E & F), restrooms & concessions and associated Sitework; Volume 2) New two-story 45,000 sf Administration & Classrooms Building (Bldg B) and associated Sitework. Both Volumes are part of this bid package, you are responsible to include all work for your trade scope from both Volumes 1 & 2. We are requesting bids for the Following Trades: Rough & Final Cleaning, AC Paving, Striping, Site Concrete, Fencing & Gates, Synthetic Turf, Synthetic Track, Play-field Equipment & Specialties, Landscaping, Rebar, CIP Concrete, Masonry, Structural Steel, Misc Steel & Handrails, Rough Carpentry, Finish Carpentry & MiIl-work, Waterproofing, Insulation, Metal Wall Panels, Roofing , Sheet Metal, Sealants & Caulking, Doors/Frames/Hardware, Overhead Coiling Doors, Glazing, Plastering, Metal Studs & Drywall, Tile, Acoustical Ceilings, Acoustical Wall Treatment, Flooring, Painting, Marker-boards, Visual Display Boards,Toilet Partitions & Accessories, Signage, Lockers, Fire Extinguishers, Projection Screens, Operable Panel Partitions, Cubicle Curtains, Appliances, Athletic Equipment, Scoreboards, Window Coverings, Bleacher Seating, Elevators, Fire Sprinklers, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical & Electrical Low Voltage/Fire Alarm/Other Systems. PLEASE NOTE: The Following Trades are already awarded - Surveying & Staking, Erosion Control/SWPPP, Demolition, Abatement, Grading & Earthwork, Site Utilities, Site Electrical Temporary Power and Electrical Safe-off Only.] Project requires Prevailing Wage rates. Project requires Skilled Workforce per State of California requirements. We encourage DVBE Contractors participation. This project has specific goals for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises, and we look forward to participation at every level for subcontractors, suppliers, materialmen, etc. As a reminder, effective January 1, 2014, Public Contract Code 20111.6 requires all general contractors and all mechanical, electrical, plumbers and site underground subcontractors utilizing any of the following licenses on a Public Works project valued at $1 million or more and funded whole or in part with State Facility Bond funds be prequalified with the District: General Contractors (A & B) and Subcontractors (C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46) You must be prequalified 10 days prior to submitting your bid (last day is February 12, 2020). The goals set forth in the CWA that 30% of the total work hours performed on the project be by "local residents", as defined in the CWA. The District also desires to maximize participation by local, small, emerging, minority and women-owned, disadvantaged, disabled, and veteran (collectively "LSEDV") subcontractors. Overall project duration for El Rancho High School Phase 1 Renovations is from February 26th, 2020 to July 30th, 2022.
