Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Jamestown, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
For Rehabilitation of the Steele Street Culvert The Project location: On Steele Street between Sprague and W. 6th Street. The project consists of: Rehabilitation of approximately 140 LF of 48* CMP culvert with a cured-in-place liner. The existing headwall will be modified and a new headwall constructed. In addition, storm chamber 101 will be abandoned and the adjacent junction chamber modified. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, conditioned that, if the proposal is accepted, the Contractor will enter into a contract for the same, and will execute any such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days of the date of the receipt of bids. Proposals are to be submitted on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Bids must be sealed in an envelope marked Bid Documents , project name, bidder's name and address, date and time of opening. The right to reject any and all bids, to waiver any inconsistencies in, or to make any award to other than the low bidder, should it be deemed to be in the best interest of City of Jamestown, and in accordance with the law, are herewith reserved.
