The submissions must be accompanied by a certified check for an amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the submission and made to the order of the city of Beauceville or by a bid bond established for the same amount. Bids must also be accompanied by letters of intent relating to the performance bond and the bond of the contractor's obligations for wages, materials and services as well as other documents required in the estimate. The city of Beauceville does not undertake to accept either the lowest price or any of the bids received and reserves the right to strike out certain parts of the contract.
