Demolition, site work, remodeling, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Boca Raton, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; for the remodel of a one-story above grade educational facility; one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade educational facility.
A construction manager has been awarded and is seeking pricing from prequalified general contractors. Plans call for the demolition, addition, and renovation/ remodeling of buildings 1, 2 and 3. The square footage of the renovation area of each building has not been determined. Includes but is not limited to the following scopes of work: Selective Demolition, Structural Steel, Roofing, Doors, Frames & Hardware Replacement, Windows, Gypsum Wall Board Systems, Ceramic - Porcelain Tile, Vinyl Tile & Sheet Vinyl, Acoustical Ceiling Tile, Interior & Exterior Painting, Stucco, Toilet Accessories, Bathroom Partitions, Fire Alarm, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical Light Fixture Replacement, Card Access/AI Phone/Intercom, Signage, Site Utilities, Landscaping & Irrigation and Asphalt Paving. All bidders must be prequalified with Cooper Construction Management & Consulting at the time of bidding. For vendors that were previously prequalified for other jobs, you must also complete the prequalification process for this project. Proposals received that require a Bid Bond will not be acknowledged, unless Bid Bond is attached and properly executed, the bid will not be read and will be disqualified. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written Request for Information (RFI) which shall be submitted via email (only) to the Construction Manager no later than the date and time specified of February 9th, 2022 at 3:00 PM. The information below is kept for reference. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Construction Management Services required for the completion of the Core Expansion project at Del Prado Elementary School consisting of: a building addition to increase dining and kitchen areas; remodel core related spaces including clinic, administration, and exterior corridor access; and associated parking and site modifications as required. The design and construction schedules for this project are phased. By November 6, 2020, the Architect will complete 100% Construction Documents (CDs) for permit submission. By December 18, 2020, the Architect will establish Permitted Construction Documents required for the Construction Manager to begin construction. The project shall be available for student occupancy by December 11, 2021. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall provide all Preconstruction Phase Services necessary to establish a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) as well as all Construction Phase Services following Award of the GMP for the school identified in the Project Notification. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER will be required to complete portions of the construction on an occupied campus as directed by the OWNER.
