Q & A deadline: Sep 02, 2020 5:00:00 PM EDT The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to secure prices and establish a One-time Contract to Paint Interior Walls at Del Prado Elementary School, as specified herein. This project requires a licensed Painting Contractor. The successful bidder (hereinafter referred to as the contractor) shall furnish, at their expense, all labor, supervisors, equipment, machinery, tools, materials, transportation and other services necessary to include but not be limited to, fully completing the interior painting project at Del Prado Elementary School corridors of Building 200, 300 and 300. All work shall be in accordance with plan documents, specifications, purchase order and District Master Specifications. All work to be done while school is not in session. All work is to be clean and safe for proceeding day of school. The recommended process to repair the areas of concern including removal of failing coating(s) down to a solid surface are as follows.The method of removal is at the discretion of contractor, either chemically and/or mechanically. Once down to a solid surface, clean to remove all contaminates, abrade to create a profile, clean to remove dust created, prime using Extreme Bond Interior/Exterior Bonding Primer (B51W00150), then topcoat. Follow specifications provided by Sherwin Williams. The contract time for this project shall be 45 calendar days from issuance of Purchase Order/Notice to Proceed to Project Substantial Completion. The contractor work shall Finally Complete with an additional 10 calendar days from Substantial Completion. Total Contract Calendar Days shall be 55 days.
