Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Geneva, Illinois. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of October 5, 2023, the project is moving forward. And engineer has been selected and design is expected to take about 18 months. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference: Based on a Solids Handling Study already performed, the design is to include: two 105,000 gallon tanks for WAS; two new thickening solids equipment units; improved thickened WAS transfer pumps; new and repurposed dewatering equipment; new polymer storage and feed equipment; updated sludge handling conveyor system; flow metering; and new thickening building. Estimated cost of construction is approximately $8 to $10 million dollars. Please see related documents for details. Projects listed include engineering design of solids handling improvements, wetland maintenance - Eagle Brook subdivision & water treatment on Brentwoods Pond, water main engineering design and construction inspection, geotechnical exploration and/or materials testing, and traffic studies.
