As of July 7, 2022, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, it is anticipate bidding will commence late summer 2022, with construction following. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This project requires assistance from an experienced firm to prepare bid document for the cleaning of the wastewater plant anaerobic and aerobic digesters. Perform a complete inspection of the interior and exterior of the digesters. Prepare bid document for repairs to the interior and exterior of the digesters based on the inspection. Perform construction inspection services of the repairs. The Consultant shall submit 6 sets of RFP hard copies. The City staff will review the RFPs based on thoroughness and understanding of the tasks to be completed; background and experience in completing similar work; time required to accomplish requested services for the City of Geneva. The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to use without limitation any and all information, concepts, and data submitted in response to this RFP, or derived by further investigation thereof. The City further reserves the right at any time and for any reason to cancel this solicitation, to reject any or all proposals, to supplement, add to, delete from, or otherwise change this RFP if conditions dictate. The City may seek clarifications from a Respondent at any time and failure to respond promptly may be cause for rejection.
