**As of July 19, 2022, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond and Performance Bonds will be required for this project. Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. The submission of the bid by the offeror in response to this Advertisement for Bids constitutes an acknowledgement of and an agreement by the Offeror that it understands and will comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Preference Act (30 ILCS 570). Resolution No. 90-74 requires compliance with the Human Relations Act and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The contract award shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid properly addresses and complies with the invitation, and is most advantageous to the City of Galesburg; price and other factors considered. The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids. This work includes the reconstruction of an existing storm sewer pipe system, running between Monmouth Blvd and South Street and Northwest of South Street towards Holton Street. The work will also include pavement, curb, and sidewalk removal and replacement. The proposed work includes 60" RCP Storm Sewer, 60" equivalent storm sewer, 15" and 18" Storm Sewer, PCC manhole and inlet structures, 6" PCC base course with a 1.5" HMA overlay, Concrete Curb Ty B, and grading and landscaping.
