Site work, paving and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a 39,546-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

As of 04/14/2020 Source does not have the contract amount, start and end date. Work includes the construction of a new combined Public Works Department and Parks and Rec Department shop facility on a new site with new utilities. Phase I site work to extend existing street, install new utilities and utility stubs to building pad, complete mass grading and building pad has been completed under a prior contract. Site work as part of the current project will include excavation and backfill for new buildings, finish grading and site restoration, curbing, paving, striping, site lighting, fencing and landscaping. The building will be 39,546 sf main level with 2,905 sf mezzanine space. Building shell construction is a pre-engineered metal building, slab-on-grade with frost wall foundations and partial masonry veneer. All shop and storage areas will have in-floor heat. Daylight panels are provided integral with metal building shell. The facility will house dedicated Public Works and Parks and Rec department work and storage areas. The departments will share administrative and support spaces, including break room, kitchen, lockers, toilet facilities, and mechanicals. Shared administrative and support spaces are metal stud framed within the pre-engineered metal building frame. Design features include jib, mono-rail and overhead rail cranes, welding shop, sign and barricade maintenance and storage, apparatus repair shop with vehicle lift and service pit, apparatus storage bays, plumbing supply, brine operations, and indoor / outdoor large equipment wash bays. There are two additional buildings on site that will be included in the project scope, delivered as design / build components through the selected general contractor: a 6,480 sf heavy timber framed salt shed and a 7,680 sf pole shed framed cold storage building. Salt storage building will have asphalt interior floor slab and cold storage will be a gravel floor with center concrete drive path. BID AWARD: Contract Award - Anticipated April 13, 2020, or within 20 days of bid opening CONSTRUCTION START: After Notice to Proceed, Anticipated Monday April 13, 2020. CONSTRUCTION TERM: 450 calendar days. Project is subject to Liquidated Damages. GENERAL BID INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS: 1. Late Bids will not be accepted. 2. No Bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening with out the consent of the Owner. 3. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond for a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. 4. Bids shall be on a Stipulated Sum basis. Segregated bids will not be accepted. 5. Submit your bid offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form with attachments as appropriate. Deliver bids in an opaque envelope addressed to the City of Reedsburg and labeled "Sealed Bid - Reedsburg Public Works Facility." Incorporate the name and address of the bidder on the outside of the envelope. 6. General Contract bidders are required to pre-qualify to the requirements described in Document 00 2113 - Instructions to Bidders. Any contractor whose name appears on the State of Wisconsin's Debarred List shall be ineligible. 7. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive technicalities in any bid or part thereof and to accept the bid or bids deemed to be in the cities best interest. 8. Admin. Code. If a subcontractor awards subcontracts, these requirements shall apply to the subcontractor.
