The project is expected to be awarded on April 21, 2020 during the BOCC Meeting Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to drill and complete two (2) Floridan Aquifer production wells TFRO-6 and TFRO-7 for Martin County Department of Utilities (MCU), Tropical Farms Water Treatment Plant (TFWTP), located in Martin County, Florida. Scope of work includes drilling, setting of steel and pvc casing, grouting, flow testing, wellhead assembly, acidizing (if necessary), well logging, pump testing, formation water disposal system (including temporary piping, pumps, and settling tanks), well facility disinfection and restoration of well site, and final casing termination as described in the project specifications and plans. Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. Bid must be accompanied by the County's Bid Bond form, including those applicable to the sureties for the Statutory Payment Bond and Common Law Performance Bond (upload copy of bond if e-bidding). The bond shall be on the Bid Guaranty form provided by the County, with Power of Attorney Affidavit attached, in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount (base bid plus any and all alternates). Substantial completion shall be within: o 360 calendar days (Base Bid) o 420 calendar days (Base Bid + Add Alternate 1 {Wellhead, Site Civil, and Electrical} + Add Alternate 2 {"A" - Fiber Optic Communication OR "B"- RTU}) Liquidated damages shall be $1,250.00 per day.
