Cheatham, LLC, awarded amount is $3,304,312.50** Project No- 19-009 Martin County is seeking bids from licensed Contractors to construct a stormwater treatment area with deep cell treatment, wetland restoration and weir structures in the area upstream of SE Winged Foot Drive and downstream of Constitution Boulevard, east of SE Federal Highway (US-1). This project is grant funded through the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP). The successful contractor shall comply with all applicable grant requirements. The project construction includes; site preparation, excavation, embankment, grading, dewatering, in-line sheet pile weir structures, stormwater structures, reinforced concrete pipes, wetland planting, sod, rip rap placement and cart path access reconstruction. The improvements are to enhance water quality and provide flood attenuation benefits to the drainage basin. It is incumbent on the CONTRACTOR to maintain the existing drainage through the project area during the construction and plan for drainage management in the event of storms and hurricanes.
