Site work for a mixed-use development in Kelowna, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; municipal facility; and road / highway.
Construction at the Glenmore Landfill. The scope of work includes construction of a new cell that includes earthworks, installation of an engineered liner system for a new cell that ties into an existing cell liner, and leachate collection system. In addition, road and ditch construction, paving and utility installation that includes a watermain, leachate forcemain, landfill gas, stormwater, and electrical. Optional work includes construction of a berm and stormwater utilities. Future work within the Glenmore Landfill limits may also be included. The Work can be briefly summarized as follows: Construct 600 metres of road, Pave 500 metres Construct 775 metres of ditch Install utilities for 470 metres of landfill gas, 500 metres of watermain, 350 metres of leachate forcemain and stormwater culverts Strip and haul topsoil, onsite cut to fill 13,000 cubic metres of material, excavate and haul 22,500 cubic metres of material Construct 450 metres of berm, 23,500 square metres of base liner structure and 1,900 metres of leachate collection system Locate and tie into 350 metres of existing base liner structure Prepare and pave 11,000 square metres of existing road within the Landfill Construct Northwest Pond Berm and Stormwater Utilities (Optional Work) Documents can be obtained from https://kelowna.bonfirehub.ca/portal/
