Ref. #: 11516 The Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery has been operated by the City of Kelowna since 1911. This Cemetery is over 50 acres in size. The perpetual care and maintenance of the park land and memorial infrastructure is of the utmost importance for Kelowna citizens. Interments of caskets and cremated remains are the main responsibilities of the Cemetery Caretaker. Turf maintenance, granite and bronze monument installation and maintenance are another major part of this contract. Collaboration and communication with the Cemetery Manager and office staff is of the utmost importance. The Cemetery Caretaker and all staff working under the Caretaker are the first staff that the general public and Kelowna residents interact with when visiting the Cemetery. The Contractor is therefore a representative of this City Park. Intent to Bid Due Date: Jan 8th 2024, 2:00 PM PST Questions to be submitted as early as possible and prior to 5 days prior to the Closing Date.
