The results and final disposition of the bid opening will be presented to the County Commission on Monday, March 16, 2020, beginning approximately at 5:00 PM (Local Time), in the Tom Baker room of the City/County building, for the following item: Dust Control Material: This bid consists of the delivery of Dust Control Material to the Burleigh County Shop and the delivery and application of Dust Control Material to several roadways within the county. A Bidder's Bond will not be required of all Bidders. Instead, the successful Bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of their bid immediately after award of the Bid. The purpose of the Bond is to assure that the Bidder will honor their unit price commitment for the specified time period. Should a Bidder default on their Contract, the Burleigh County Board of Commissioners will retain the amount of Bond as liquidated damages. Awarded Bids will be considered valid for one year beyond the date of award. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids; to waive technicalities or to accept such as may be determined to be in the best interest of the County.
