Renovation of an educational facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bid Security equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Bid shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check as prescribed by LA RS 38:2218 must be attached to and made a part of the bid. Bid bonds must be written by a qualified company licensed to do business in Louisiana. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. For this project, Liquidated Damages will apply in the amount of Three Hundred Dollars ($300) per day for each consecutive calendar day which the work is not completed, beginning with the first day beyond the established completion date of 75 days. The Caddo Parish School Board desires that Bidders make a good faith effort to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. This project consists of minimal demolition of existing bleachers, installation of new bleachers, new scoring table, new wenches for basketball goals down each side of gym, and all required electrical for bleachers, scoring table and wenches. *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
