Renovation of a multi-residential development in Madison, Connecticut. Working plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
As of 4/27/2020 no bid received. No rebid date yet. The Town of Madison AA/EOE/Title VI is seeking qualified Housing Rehabilitation Contractors to perform Housing Rehabilitation activities for the town of Madison, AA/EOE/Title VI. Funds for this program are available through a 2019 Small Cities Grant funded by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development under the auspices of Connecticut's Department of Economic and Community Development. Eligible contractors must have Home Improvement license, appropriate insurances, lead certificate, and references. Minority, disabled, section 3, and women's businesses are encouraged to apply. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid, made out to Madison Interfaith Residential Community, LLC must accompany each bid. Bid bond amount will be retained as liquidated damages in case the selected bidder fails to execute a contract. The General Conditions for this Project require surety bonds, non-discrimination and prevailing wage rates. The Owner reserves the right to reject bids and to waive irregularities.
