Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Colerain Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of 6/23/2020 project was already awarded for $117,815.60 There are two (2) areas that the program focuses on. They are located in the Northbrook and Groesbeck neighborhoods, approximately 1.5 miles apart. Maps of the two (2) locations are attached at the end of this Request for Proposal. Both areas were chosen due to their proximity to crucial Township assets, including schools, libraries, and commercial destinations. The majority of the existing sidewalks located in Colerain Township were initially built during the same time the adjoining streets and homes were constructed. After several decades, these sidewalks require repair. The Sidewalk Maintenance Program is a yearly revolving project with the intent to complete repairs on all Colerain Township sidewalks In May of 2019, Colerain Township conducted a sidewalk survey in the two project areas. During this inventory, all sidewalks blocks, including driveway aprons that were in a state of disrepair, were marked with WHITE paint, which will be visible during the repair to be completed by the selected contractor. The total area of the sidewalk to be repaired is identified below. Please note that all property owners have the ability to opt-out of the program and complete their repairs by 4/30/2020. The window for property owners to opt-out closed on 1/31/20. As such, at the time this RFP has been sent, zero property owners have opted out of the program resulting in a potential deduction of zero areas. Please note that maintenance not performed by opt-out property owners shall be completed within the contract. Northbrook Neighborhood Total estimated area of repair Sidewalk repair - ~4,674 sqft. Driveway apron repair - ~2,004 sqft. Groesbeck (Memory) Neighborhood Total estimated square footage Sidewalk repair - ~2,639 sqft. Driveway apron repair - ~740 sqft.
