Manatee County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida (hereinafter referred to as County), will receive sealed bids from individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other legal entities authorized to do business in the State of Florida, to provide Upper Manatee River Road at Port Harbour Parkway and Greenfield Boulevard/Copperlefe Drive Intersection Improvements, as specified in this Invitation for Bid Construction to include but not limited to the installation of traffic signal with mast arm supports, signing, pavement marking, lighting and provide fiber optic communication related infrastructure and other Advance Traffic Management System (ATMS) devices. No Solicitation Information Conference will be conducted for this solicitation. The deadline to submit all questions, inquiries, or requests concerning interpretation, clarification or additional information pertaining to this Invitation for Bid Construction to the Manatee County Procurement Division is April 1, 2020. Questions and inquiries should be submitted via email to the Designated Procurement Contact Sherri Meier, Senior Procurement Agent. County reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids, to waive irregularities and minor technicalities, and to request resubmission. Also, County reserves the right to accept all or any part of the bid and to increase or decrease quantities to meet additional or reduced requirements of County. Any sole response received by the first submission date may or may not be rejected by County depending on available competition and current needs of County. For all items combined, the bid of the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder will be accepted, unless all bids are rejected.
