The purpose of this Invitation to Bid ("ITB") is to establish a Contract for the complete demolition of the existing building used for the office, and construction of new office building at the Ontario Field Station located at 3814 Clark Blvd., Ontario, Oregon 97914 ("Project"). The new office building will be a 30 foot x 70 foot, one story, wood framed structure. The work contemplated under this Contract includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services for, and incidental to, the completion of all construction work in connection with the project described in the Contract Documents. Contractor shall be responsible for all permits, fees, SDC fees, etc. associated with the new building replacement. The work will take place in Malheur County, Oregon. New Building 2601sf Including 501 Sf Overhang/porch Covers, Existing Building 2976 Sf: Total = 5,577 Sf < 9,000 Sf Number of Stories - 1 The successful Offeror shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the total amount (100%) of the awarded Contract, executed in favor of the State of Oregon, to ensure faithful performance of the Contract and payment for services and goods. Contractor shall provide all necessary expertise, labor, equipment, materials, incidentals, and permits required for the complete demolition of the existing building and the complete construction of the Project, which includes but not be limited to: - Demolition, salvage and debris removal of old building - Providing appropriate erosion and sediment control - Excavation, dewatering, and grading of site - Gravel surfacing of parking lot, driveway approaches, and perimeter of structure - Install septic system and connect to existing drain line - Construction of building foundation and complete structure - Installation and finish of all concrete - Demobilization - performing site clean-up and restoration Prevailing wages rates will apply, Region 14, Malheur County. Davis Bacon Wage Rates will not apply. SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION: No later than October 14, 2020 FINAL COMPLETION: No later than October 28, 2020
