The Ontario School District is seeking qualified contractors to submit bids for the following packages: 1. Millwork 2. Doors, Fames, and Hardware 3. Storefront & Glazing 4. Metal Stud Framing, Drywall, Acoustic Tile Ceiling 5. Floor Covering 6. Painting 7. Specialties 8. Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning 9. Electrical The Ontario School District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the agency that it is in the public interest to do so. Bid proposals will be accepted from those contractors only (trade contractor, subcontractors, and/or specialty contractors) who, prior to the bid opening, hold a current Construction Contractor's Board License in the State of Oregon, and who do not appear on BOLI's current List of Contractors Ineligible to Receive Public Works Contracts. Each bid must identify whether the bidder is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279-029. Before any contract is awarded for the work contemplated herein, Ontario School District and/or CM Company shall conduct such investigation, as it deems necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the apparent lowest responsive bidder to perform the type and size of project specified under this contract. Upon request, the bidder shall submit such information as deemed necessary for such evaluation. Questions regarding the Request for Proposal and Bid must be submitted in writing and received by CM Company NO LATER THAN FIVE (5) WORKING DAYS PRIOR TO BID OPENING.
