Renovation of an educational facility in Storrs Mansfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The University is looking to renovate shell office space in the Student Union with the purpose of relocating the One Card Services from Wilbur Cross. This Scope of Work will be performed in approximately 1,000 square foot area which will include a reception area with a waiting and phot area with a printing and service counter. Work will include interior and facade reconfiguration, finishes, millwork, lighting, acoustical improvements window treatments and technology upgrades. In addition, there will be potential modifications to mechanical and electrical systems to accommodate new lighting and finishes All Requests for Information ("RFI") must be received in writing no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2020 and emailed to walter.dalia@uconn.edu The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The University reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, to award any item, group of items, or total Bid, and to waive any informality or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interests of the University. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within ninety (90) days of the date of the Bid opening. Should there be reasons why the Contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the University and the Bidder.
