Site work for a water / sewer project in Ankeny, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The West Outfall Sanitary Sewer project includes the installation of sanitary sewer trunk main, generally located north of SW Oralabor Road, on the west side of Saylor Creek; to SW State Street, at SW Plaza Parkway in the City of Ankeny. The construction improvements include 1,800 lf of 24 inch trenched sewer, 250 lf of 24 inch trenchless sewer with casing, 7 manholes, installation of external drop connection, removal of an existing MH, removal of existing sanitary sewer and storm. Other associated improvements include erosion control, surface restoration, grading, and miscellaneous associated work necessary to complete the project. Location / Site Directions: North side of SW Oralabor Road on the east side of Saylor creek, to just east of SW State Street and SW Plaza Parkway. (SE 1/4 of Sec. 27 and SW 1/4 of Sec. 26, Township 80N, Range 24W) If a bidder will be submitting a bid by hand delivery prior to , that bidder needs to contact the City of Ankeny Municipal Utilities Department at 515-963-3520 to make arrangements for delivery and receipt of the bid. Bids received after the deadline for submission of bids as stated herein shall not be considered and shall be returned to the late bidder unopened.
