Primary Scope Location:1. Rock Island High School - Stadium; 2408 17th Street, Rock Island, IL 61201 2. Alternate Bid Scope Locations: a. Edison Junior High School, 4141 9th Street, Rock Island, IL 61201 b. Eugene Field Elementary School; 2900 31st Avenue, Rock Island, IL 61201 c. Longfellow Elementary School; 4198 7th Avenue, Rock Island, IL 61201 d. Rock Island High School - Field House; 1400 25th Avenue, Rock Island, IL 61201 e. Washington Junior High School, 3300 18th Avenue, Rock Island, Il 61201 The Project consists of the addition and renovations to toilet room facilities at Rock Island High School Stadium and miscellaneous improvements at other Schools within the district Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cash in an amount equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Should a bid bond be submitted, the bid bond shall be payable to the Board of Education - Rock Island - Milan School District 41. E. Bids shall be submitted on or before the specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to: Rock Island - Milan School District 41; 2101 6th Avenue, Rock Island, IL 61201; Attn: Bob Beckwith. F. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the District. G. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works. Bidder must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws.
