Bids will be examined promptly after opening and an award will be made at the earliest possible date. Bids must be held firm for acceptance by the Fayetteville Public Works Commission for a period of ninety (90) days after bid opening date. All questions regarding this project shall be submitted in writing to Nikole Subject, Procurement Advisor, by fax at (910) 483-1429 or by e-mail to nikole.subject@faypwc.com. All questions shall be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, March 30, 2020, in order to be considered. Oral explanations and interpretations made prior to bid opening shall not be binding. The Contractor, at the time of the execution of the Contract shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to at least one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price as security for the faithful performance of this Contract and as security for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials and equipment in connection with this Contract in accordance with N.C.G.S. Chapter 44A, Article 3. The Fayetteville Public Works Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities, and to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids.
