Site work for a water / sewer project in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of the replacement of the existing 18-inch cast iron aerial sanitary sewer main to be replaced with an 18-inch steel sanitary sewer main. The project includes the use of 24-inch diameter steel piles, installation of new manholes, demolition of the existing aerial crossing, installation of rip rap, all associated erosion control measures, and all other necessary items to complete the work as described herein and shown on the plans. The successful Bidder shall be required to submit a separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. The Fayetteville Public Works Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive all informalities concerning bid, or award bid to the lowest responsible bidder or bidders, taking into consideration quality, performance, and the time specified in the proposal for the performance of the contract.
