If the total amount of the contract to be awarded will exceed $100,000, the award of the contract must be approved by the Local Contract Review Board. A contract for the work will be awarded or Bids may be rejected, separately or entirely, within thirty (30) days after Bid opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids in accordance with ORS 279C.395. The general character of the work for this Project includes the furnishing of submittals, goods, and services for a fully functional ballasted flocculation system as follows: all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals and appurtenances by the Successful Bidder (Seller) required to prepare shop drawings for the City's consultant use in completing design of the City's new Water Treatment Plant scheduled to begin construction in 2021. All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the amount of such Bid. All projects in excess of $50,000.00 require the Seller to pay all applicable prevailing wage rates.
