Site work for a water / sewer project in Smithfield, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work will consist of the construction of approximately 21,710 lf of 8” force main, 7,000 lf of 16” force main, a 1250 GPM wastewater pump station and access road in the McGee’s Crossroads and Cleveland areas of Johnston County, NC. COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to the Governor's Stay at Home order, the location of the bid opening has been changed. Instead of holding the bid opening in the conference room of the Land Use Center, 309 E. Market St, Smithfield, NC, it will be held in the rear parking lot of the Land Use Center, 309 E. Market St, Smithfield, NC. Attendance is not required. Those who do attend are expected to maintain social distance and take all measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control to protect public health.
