California Contractor License Classification required: A California Class "B" contractor's license is required to bid this contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. Specialty work may require a specialty contractor's license, held by Bidder or a listed subcontractor. The undersigned Bidder herewith encloses cash, a cashier's check, or certified check of or on a responsible bank in the United States, or a corporate surety bond furnished by a surety authorized to do a surety business in the State of California, in form specified in Document 00 2113 (Instructions to Bidders), in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price and made payable to City of Berkeley. Construction Performance Bond, fully executed by successful Bidder and surety, in the amount set forth in Document 00 6113.13.
