Site work and paving for a road / highway in Berkeley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project Description: construct a paved multi-use trail, install street furniture, landscaping and irrigation work, and doing all appurtenant work in place and ready for use, all as shown on the plans and described in the specifications below, and on file in the office of the Engineer. California Contractor License Classification required: A California "A" contractor's license is required to bid this contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. Specialty work may require a specialty contractor's license, held by Bidder or a listed subcontractor. The DBE contract goal for this project is 4%. This is a federal-aid transportation project, at least 30% of the contract work is to be performed by the prime contractor. This project is subject to the "Buy America" provisions of the Surface Transportation Assistance Act of 1982 as amended by the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991.
